Designing an Intuitive, High-Velocity HR Platform That Scales With Teams and Streamlines Everything From Hiring to Onboarding and Beyond.
Modern HR, reimagined with clarity, empathy, and product-led growth.
Eazio emerged to solve a growing problem for startups and scaling companies: clunky HR tools that slow teams down. I joined the team to lead UX and growth design, building a clean, efficient, and scalable experience for both admins and employees.
HR touches every part of an organization — hiring, onboarding, payroll, time-off, compliance. But most platforms treat them as silos. I helped define a cohesive experience where users feel guided, not overwhelmed.
Through research, iterative testing, and clear design logic, we shaped a platform that feels fast, human, and deeply intuitive. From first login to managing performance cycles, Eazio began delivering clarity to an otherwise chaotic process.

Problem
Disconnected HR Tools Were Slowing Down Small Teams That Needed Agility, Not Bloat And Users Were Drowning in Complexity
Startups and small businesses don’t have time to learn or manage bloated HR software. Eazio’s early beta had potential but lacked clear onboarding, intuitive workflows, and contextual guidance.
Users didn’t understand how to navigate modules or complete key tasks like adding team members, configuring payroll, or tracking leave. Admins struggled with setup while employees felt lost in repetitive forms.
The core issue: each HR function was designed in isolation. There was no unified mental model or UX framework. This made the product feel disjointed and created unnecessary support debt.


Process
Mapping End-to-End HR Journeys To Build for Clarity, Speed, and Human-Centred Flow With Fast Iteration and Tight Feedback Loops
I began with user interviews across roles — founders, HR managers, and employees — to understand pain points from both ends of the HR spectrum. These insights were mapped into journey flows and opportunity areas.
The product team adopted a modular design strategy, and I introduced UX standards to unify navigation, actions, and terminology. We prioritized essential features first, like hiring pipelines, team setup, and self-serve onboarding.
Weekly sprints allowed us to test assumptions fast. We used Miro for collaborative mapping, Figma for high-fidelity prototyping, and GA4 for measuring UX drop-offs. My goal was to ship confidently and iterate intelligently.

The redesigned platform launched with a simplified onboarding wizard, unified team and role management, and real-time feedback loops that supported employee engagement from day one.
I embedded microcopy and contextual helpers throughout the product, reducing user confusion and support requests by 40%. Payroll, attendance, and policy flows were restructured around real-world mental models.
As a result, the platform saw increased engagement across all modules, higher onboarding completion rates, and strong NPS growth among small teams. Eazio wasn’t just an HR tool anymore — it became a partner in people ops success
